General Overview:

Microsoft Word can be used to create all types of business and personal documents and can do much more than just word processing. Word has powerful features to enable document creation, editing, and collaboration, while also allowing the user to enhance their work with graphical design elements.  Word utilizes features that are faster and easier to use than ever before. The Word interface also allows for greater flexibility and the user can customize many of the everyday features of the application.

  • Use the Ribbon with its look and feel
  • Customize and use the Quick Access Toolbar
  • Create, open, save, and print documents using enhanced features
  • Format text and paragraphs
  • Work with lists and graphic objects
  • Edit documents and use Word’s proofing tools
  • Work with Auto Text and Auto Correct

This course is designed for individuals and groups new to Microsoft Word and those who would like a strong foundation to build on in order to create great-looking documents for business and personal use.
